Hartford Healthcare seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to support daily operations on our inpatient unit. In this leadership role, you’ll coordinate patient care, assist with staffing and scheduling, mentor nurses, and promote best practices in safety and quality. You’ll collaborate closely with the Nurse Manager, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent outcomes and patient experience. Support daily operations of the inpatient nursing unit
Coordinate and oversee patient care delivery
Assist with staff scheduling and assignment
Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff
Promote and monitor quality, safety, and infection control standards
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Help manage patient flow and resource utilization
Participate in staff onboarding and ongoing education
Assist with performance feedback and evaluations
Support implementation of clinical and operational initiatives
