Mercy seeks a Clinical Supervisor RN for our 4A Cardiac Med Intermediate unit. This role oversees daily clinical operations, ensuring safe, high-quality cardiac care and regulatory compliance. The supervisor leads and mentors nursing staff, coordinates patient flow, supports evidence-based practice, and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include staffing, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism. Oversee daily clinical operations on the 4A Cardiac Med Intermediate unit
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff performance and development
Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based cardiac patient care
Coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharges, and transfers
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and resource allocation
Support orientation and ongoing training of clinical staff
Use EHR and telemetry data to guide clinical decisions
Promote a culture of compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement
