Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for our 4A Cardiac Med Intermediate unit. In this leadership role, you will coordinate daily operations, oversee nursing staff, and ensure safe, evidence-based cardiac care for intermediate-acuity patients. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring RNs, managing patient assignments, supporting clinical decision-making, and driving quality and safety initiatives. You’ll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, support staff education, and help implement best practices, all within Mercy’s compassionate, growth-focused culture.
Supervise and support RNs and clinical staff on the 4A Cardiac Med Intermediate unit
Coordinate daily unit operations, patient flow, and staff assignments
Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based cardiac intermediate care
Mentor and coach staff, supporting ongoing clinical development
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance metrics
Assist with onboarding, training, and performance feedback for staff
Promote a compassionate, patient-centered care environment aligned with Mercy values
