Job Description Position Overview\n Peaceful Perspective Life Coaching Center, a leader in holistic mental health care, is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to become an integral part of our expanding team of mental health professionals. You will work closely with other mental health professionals, including licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists, ensuring that every client receives well-coordinated and integrated care. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to ascertain each client’s needs, strengths, and challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy. \n Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, focusing on solution-oriented strategies. \n Provide engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a range of methodologies to address complex relational dynamics and mental health issues. \n Document all client interactions accurately, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other pertinent records, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and internal policies. \n Participate in regular clinical supervision and engage in continuous professional development to refine your skills and stay abreast of industry trends. \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and facilitate referrals as necessary to meet client needs. \n Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client interactions, promoting a safe and trusting therapeutic environment. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our clients include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds seeking assistance with relationship challenges, mental health issues, and life transitions. You will work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and communication issues, providing the necessary tools to navigate their journeys towards healing and understanding. Qualifications\n \n A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in New York State. \n A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field; a Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred. \n A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in marital and family therapy, is required. \n Proficient understanding of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions. \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in substance abuse counseling or therapy is a plus, as our client population often presents with co-occurring disorders. \n Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices. \n Knowledge of cultural competency practices that enhance therapeutic relationships. \n Compensation and Benefits\n \n Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. \n Access to an employee assistance program geared towards supporting your own mental health and well-being. \n Flexible scheduling options and a full caseload provide a meaningful and fulfilling working environment. \n Career Growth Opportunities\n We are committed to your professional development.
