Description
Good Samaritan seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead daily pharmacy services in our faith-based, community health center. This role oversees pharmacy staff, workflow, inventory, and regulatory compliance while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective medication use. The manager collaborates closely with medical, dental, and behavioral health teams to support whole-person care, patient education, and access to affordable medications. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, clinical knowledge, and a passion for health equity in underserved communities within a mission-driven environment.Oversee daily pharmacy operations within Good Samaritan’s integrated care setting
Supervise pharmacy staff, scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure safe, accurate dispensing, storage, and documentation of medications
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
Optimize workflows, inventory, and cost-effective purchasing
Partner with medical, dental, and behavioral health teams on medication management
Implement quality, safety, and clinical protocols for high-risk medications
Monitor metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement
Support patient education, adherence, and access to affordable medications
Model mission-driven, faith-informed, and equity-focused leadership
Pharmacy operations management
Clinical pharmacotherapy knowledge
Regulatory compliance (state, federal, accreditation)
Medication safety and quality improvement
Inventory and formulary management
340B program management
Electronic Health Record (EHR) and pharmacy systems
Staff leadership, coaching, and scheduling
Interdisciplinary care coordination
Data analysis and performance reporting
Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance
Life Insurance
401k
Active, unrestricted Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD) license in state of practice
Immunization certification (e.g., pharmacist immunizer) preferred
Advanced certifications (e.g., BCPS, BCACP) a plus
Experience with community health centers or safety-net settings preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations
Familiarity with 340B program strongly preferred
Experience with EHR and pharmacy management systems
