Description
Signature HealthCARE seeks a Staff Development Coordinator to plan, deliver, and evaluate staff education that supports person-centered care in our long-term and post-acute facilities. In this role, you will coordinate orientation, clinical skills training, and ongoing competencies for nursing and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. You’ll assess learning needs, develop engaging training materials, track completion, and coach team members to excellence. Working in our resident-centered, faith-based culture, you will collaborate with leadership to improve quality outcomes and support continuous professional growth.Plan, schedule, and coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing staff education programs.
Deliver clinical and non-clinical training using adult learning principles.
Assess staff learning needs and develop competency-based training plans.
Maintain education records, attendance, and competency documentation.
Ensure training content aligns with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with nursing and facility leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
Educate staff on policies, procedures, and best practices in long-term and post-acute care.
Support performance improvement through coaching and skills validation.
Integrate EHR and documentation standards into staff training.
Monitor and report on education outcomes and compliance metrics.

Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency
Presentation and facilitation skills
Data tracking and reporting for training outcomes

Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred or LPN/LVN where applicable
